Rules
General: Fishermen & guests are expected to behave in an appropriate manner at all times and show consideration for other fishermen at the fishery. Most importantly, we expect fishermen to treat the fish with the respect they deserve and handle with every care. We reserve the right to eject fisherman or guests if we feel their behaviour is inappropriate.

Opening times:-
1st April – 31st August, Mon –Thurs 7am – 8.30pm
Fri-Sun 6am – 8.30pm
1st Sept – 30th Sept 7am – 7pm
1st Oct – 31st Mar 7am – 5pm. |

The owner accepts no responsibility for anglers vehicles, contents or equipment whilst on the site. |

All accidents must be reported immediately to the owner. |

No dogs. |

No children unless fishing with a responsible adult. |

No swimming. |

No Barbecues. |

No Fires. |

Parking only in the designated car parks. |

No abusive or offensive language. |

Respect other anglers and wildlife. |

Use the bins provided, or take your litter home. |

No fish to be retained, except in matches. |

No fish to be held in towels. |

No braided line. |

Barbless hooks only. |

Safe lead clips or free running leads. |

No floating baits except on Greenhills or Mitre pool. |

No halibut pellets. |

Keep noise to a minimum. |

Fishing only from designated pegs/swims. |

Land net to be used for all fish over 6inches/15cm long. |

NO rods to be left unattended. |

Pike/carp anglers must have minimum 15lb breaking strain line. |

Keep nets to be laid out on bank until 10 minutes before the start of the match. |

Two keep nets per angler - 1 for silver fish, 1 for Carp. |

60lb limit for each net. |

Only Weigh Slings and Mats provided by Bishops Bowl Fishery are to be used. |
Whilst the consumption of alcohol is permitted, anyone behaving inappropriately whilst under the influence of alcohol will be asked to leave the fishery.
Anyone attempting to remove fish from Bishops Bowl fishery will be prosecuted, we also reserve the right to check any vehicle at any time
