The Lakes
Bishops Bowl Fishery is situated in a lovely rural setting just outside of the villages of Bishops Itchington and Harbury on the Oxfordshire/Warwickshire borders. The lakes are set in a former 90 acre limestone quarry which has been allowed to flood naturally. The quarry work many years ago has created an attractive stone faced bowl, which has two areas designated as Sites of Special Scientific interest, whilst the whole site is recorded as a Site of Interest for Nature and Conservation.
This unique fishery offers a wide variety of lakes which cater for anglers of all abilities.

GREENHILL LAKE
A 24 acre lake sheltered by cliffs, some of which are Sites of Special Scientific Interest. Flora and fauna abound, but the expanse of the water is broken by a number of islands, channels and bays. Depths vary from 2-35ft, and it is relatively untouched as it has not been fished since the early 1980’s when it was a trout water.
The stock levels have never been quantified, but on a still, sunny day from the bank, shoals of roach, bream and tench can be seen as well as large numbers of carp easily in excess of 20lbs, not to mention large pike.
This water is a barely fished challenge to any specimen hunter.
Charges:
Day ticket £7
Concessions £5
Extra rod £1 up to a maximum of 3 rods.
